Frequently Asked Questions
1What does ATELIER mean?
An ATELIER gown is completely made to your measurements — from the inspiration, design, and pattern to the choice of fabrics. Everything is created based on your wishes and our aesthetic.
2 How long does it take to create an ATELIER gown?
The process takes between 4 and 6 months, depending on the design. We recommend contacting us in advance, as the ATELIER service is highly personalized and has limited availability each year.
3Can I bring references to the first appointment?
Of course! During the first meeting, we’ll discuss your style, ideas, and any inspiration you’d like to share. You’ll also be able to try on the RTW collection — ideal for visualizing our signature cuts and details.
4How do I start the made-to-measure design process?
Email us at info@bymarinasuarez.com.ar, including your wedding date and where you live.
5What is the process of creating an ATELIER gown?
The journey is artisanal and collaborative:
- First fitting with a toile, where we define the cut and silhouette.
- Second fitting with the main fabrics, adjusting fit and neckline.
- Third fitting with the nearly finished gown and any additional pieces.
- Fourth and final fitting, ready for delivery — ideally 7–10 days before the wedding.
